Pittsburgh is no stranger to playing the backdrop for Hollywood films.

“The Dark Knight Rises,” “Flashdance” and “Sudden Death” are a few of the many movies that bring the Steel City onto the silver screen.

Now, Downtown Pittsburgh has transformed into a movie set yet again, this time for director David Leitch’s “How to Rob a Bank.” The Amazon MGM Studios film — expected to release Labor Day weekend 2026, according to Deadline — stars Nicholas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz and Pete Davidson.
