The 87North Team

Mind-blowing entertainment through the power of action.

87North is the world-renowned production and action design company founded by filmmakers David Leitch and Kelly McCormick who are the force behind such iconic, high quality, and bold action tentpole films such as The Fall Guy, Bullet Train, Fast & Furious Present: Hobbs & Shaw, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, Love Hurts, Nobody, Violent Night, and John Wick. 87North’s work strives to bring attention to the stunt community, and in 2024, Leitch and McCormick produced a stunt segment for the 96th Academy Awards, paying homage to stunts in iconic films throughout the history of the Oscars. Additionally, for The Fall Guy, they pioneered a “Stunt Designer” credit to properly reflect the artistic contributions of Stunt Coordinators who serve as creative architects behind a film or show’s extraordinary stunts.

In 2022, 87North launched its action design and stunt facility, co-owned by Leitch and McCormick. Based in the heart of Hollywood, the state-of-the-art studio provides a comprehensive, safe, and skilled environment where world-class stunt designers create action stunts and train actors for 87North’s own productions, as well as for outside filmmakers and projects.
